Find the perfect skin regimen to have glowy and radiant skin. While you start planning your skincare routine, you may find a lot of questions popping into your head. It can be tricky to find the perfect regimen, so we are bringing every crucial step of a basic skincare routine to your attention in this article to better your life.
Start the day by cleansing your skin with an appropriate product. Choose your cleanser carefully, according to your skin type. Usually, in the morning, I suggest you stick to something gentle like a foam cleanser. During your night routine, you will want a stronger product to remove all makeup and build-up that might have occurred during the day.
Toner is a water-like liquid packed with hydrogen and oxygen. Most people skip the toning part after cleansing their skin but they don’t know that it helps set the stage for the rest of your skincare routine.
You can apply it into your hands, gently patting it onto your skin, or use a cotton pad and gently wipe it on your skin. Toners will calm your skin, reduce visible pores while keeping your skin healthy and hydrated.
Vitamin C Serum
It is essential to use Vitamin C during the day, regardless of your age. Vitamin C is known for reversing sun damage and slows the rate of free radical harm onto the skin collagen. Be careful when looking for a vitamin c serum and opt for a stable one as they allow the molecules to be absorbed into the skin.
Vitamin c contains many advantages such as fading hyperpigmentation, smoothing wrinkles, and boosting collagen levels, making the skin plumper.
The skin around your eyes tends to get neglected. Did you know that the under-eye area is the thinnest part of your face? Thus it requires more care. Not using a suitable eye cream can cause a lot of damage, like eye wrinkles and dark circles that are very common. These conditions may get worse over time when exposing to the sun.
That’s when your eye cream comes to the rescue. It will leave your under-eye moisturized. Find what ingredient to look for in your eye cream. If you have dark circles look for vitamin C, puffiness requires niacinamide and to plump the skin, go for hyaluronic acid.
Moisturizer is as important at night as in the morning. I suggest you differ your morning moisturizer from the one you use at night. To start the day, use a light moisturizer so that your face will not feel greasy and opt for a heavy moisturizer in the evening.
Here are some reasons why it is essential to use a moisturizer?
1. Stop Dryness
2. Slow Aging
3. Fight Acne
4. Protection Your Skin From The Sun
5. Soothe Your Skin
To seal your morning skin routine, you need to wear sunscreen. If you don’t, better not do any of the previous steps. The sun is the reason behind various skin issues, like aging or even skin cancer. Applying an SPF will protect your skin and allow your other products to work. I recommend an SPF of at least 30 as the last step of your morning routine. Do not forget to apply it to your neck and ears too.
The steps listed above are the basic steps of a skincare regime, you may want to add a treatment according to your skincare type and what you want to achieve. Let us know in the comments below if you are adopting this regime or if you have your own. We want to hear from you!
